The most awaited day of the month has came, the second Sunday………..
We’ve planned to go to Mahesh’s (one of our friend & colleague) house in karimnagar dist. Mahesh has arranged the car. Me and my friends Ramya, Karthik,Teju,Ram,Mounika,and Rakesh are very eager to see karimnagar.
Because none of us has seen north telangana previously except Ram.
We have started at 6:00 AM, from satyam Technology Center (STC). We stopped at pragnapur, (Medak dist) to have breakfast….we had Dosa, poori, makka gari (a special of Telangana, made by corn&daal).
Mahesh & Ram told us that it would take 4 hours to reach karimnagar, because the highway NH-7 is one of the busiest in A.P.
As the villages passing on…corn, cotton fields welcomed us to north telangana. But the things which made all of us to fear are the turns, up downs of the road. There are many accident zones where many people lost their lives. So we asked to driver bhayya to go slow .
We haven’t seen many people on the roads of medak, we took siddipet bypass road. We have seen many fruit vendors beside road, we’ve stopped & took a basket of fruits, they are very cheap.
The sun reached hights & we felt very hot. At last we reached Karimnagar city & Mahesh’s village ‘GUNDI’ alias Gopalraopet is around 35 km from city.
We reached there at 11.15 pm. We’ve received a warm welcome from Mahesh’s family.
After having a good lunch, we went to cotton fields of Mahesh. A 30-40 feet agricultural well which do not have any fence made me to fear.
All of us sat under mango trees &took some snaps. Me & Mounika played with the water. Ramya gave a Jhalak to us by driving the luna. They plucked the raw tamarind.
After having snacks & Tea, we headed towards Karimnagar city , where Ram’s grandparents stays. I heared a sound… in a moment that our qualis dashed a bike. They are drunk and came in the wrong way. They started a little argument, Rakesh(Hero of the Day) gave 200/- immediately to settle the issue (ofcourse afterwards he had collected that amount from Mahesh… ha ha ha……)
We reached Ram’s grandparents home, we met them, also Ram’s mom, we had ‘pakodi,chai’ we went to ‘saibaba temple’ & then started to Hyd....
The traffic made us to fear a lot. No one has ‘half blacked their lights, the turns and lights are horrible.
Atlast we reached STC at 11 P.M. I never expected the telangana is such a beautiful.we enjoyed a lot in quails with ‘Manisharma’s compositions’.
One thing we never missed is to have a heated debate about ‘separate statehood of Telangana’.
