Do you think you are right all the time..?

My friends have decided to pass a fatwa against my blog If I didn’t stop writing about myself and start writing something which didn’t concern to only my world.

So I dug my brain, went deep, very very deep. After my mining voyage I have decided to apologize you all. I didn’t find anything which is out of my world there. So to save myself from reputation of another Rushdie or Taslima, I have decided to write the following content.

Don’t let yourself to fall in Confusion after reading this Ok.. :-)

After getting into the Job of this…
I think of those days when I dreamt of being a journalist cum Animator.
I was decided to become a journalist in my 10th class.

But no way after my 10th. So I decided to Complete 10+2 and then join in BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communications). For the same sake I’ve avoided B.Tech. But time paved me to B.Sc from there to IT industry (Which I used to hate a lot…You can’t expect wats the extent my haterdness. (My College Friends know it much better).
So Why am I not putting (have not put) an effort into it? May be I am not creative enough? May be I don’t have the zeal to be a (gr8) writer? May be my Parents didn’t convince with my Reasons. What happened to those days when I thought writing & Creativity is the only way to show my true self..?
Past has gone…
I am not that guy who thinks Kal ho na ho.
I wish I had more time (or could create some) to spare for this everlasting passion of mine. But this post isn’t about my aspiration or a list of excuses for lack of willpower.
It’s ok, but why I need to write this post..?

First thing

Many of my friends are masters in their respective talents…
Also many of those don’t have Independence to choose their own career.

We can’t blame Parents, because they always expect good for us.
But I am saying about those guys who are around you. And masked as FRIENDS and try to play with your feelings. It’s about persons who underestimate you. Not only this they even mislead you with sweet words.
Even though they know talent in you. They discourage you. And give Comments and stupid reasons. Tries to sketch your future path colorfully. All they do basing on their own Knowledge. All might not be Correct. But for sure All are not wrong. People may say you are still a kid to choose your career.
Yes First of all I am a kid (I am still unaware with the art of deceiving and I am still honest!) Before I underline my point you should know what made me to this post...

I thank you guys for your tolerance....but this post is for persons who didn’t and couldn’t Understand Others feelings.

I know it’s hard to think by standing in others shoe. But it’s not tough to do.
On the other hand,

If you have given a Suggestion – May be if you have given a Comment. What do you get in return? Analysis of your character, citing you as an example of person who warn or harm others. Calling you a sadist, who seeks amusement by undermining people. A selfish person, who judges others, just for personal satisfaction. Claiming that you are a kind of person that should be avoided!!!

I wanna ask all those..“What do you expect? Please tell me from next time what you want to hear. I will exactly do that.... do you expect everyone in the world to think the way you do? Is that so!!Then please inform before... we will all turn into stereotypes that would have emerged out of your imagination? Then you are nothing less than a god!!

Then comes third,

Something bad has happened. Whom we have to blame now..?? Me again..??
I’ve given my opinion. I didn’t insist you to take that decision.

Why should I blame for your decisions?? So Now, What do you expect from me??? An apology? Then you win. I am sorry for giving an honest opinion. I am sorry I didn’t act mature like all the TRUE FRIENDS. There you have them….
Friends all the above things comes with EGO.
I just think all these people are overpowered by their Egos. I know criticism hurts, I love to be a critic.

Even I have been criticized but if I didn’t consider it, then it’s only my world out there (self centric or it would be a santosh centric).

Everyone tries to justify their acts. It’s a human nature, their justification is based on whatever knowledge they have developed in their life. But you should have proper decision making skills.
Do you think you are right all the time and people with Opposite thoughts are always wrong…Is it..??
Then please leave your address, I want to meet you (You have redefined the rules of nature. I surely would like to troche you :-) :-)

Remember everyone is an angel in their thought. But real ones are those who are in others thoughts.

Chandamama--Charminar Express

It was 3rd November. I was in my First Journey to Chennai.

The reason why I remember this journey is one person. And, to dramatize what has happened.

It was the evening time. All Of us (Me,Shashi,Ramu,Murali,Ramya,Janaki & Santhoshi) and All other Who Came for Sendoff are Much tensed. Also everybody is in tears (Bcoz we r leaving all of our friends). The Charminar Express Came Slowly from the Nampally Station. We got into the Train Quickly. All 4 girls settled in S10 and We 3 boys got berths in S3.

We just left the platform, waving goodbye to everyone on the platform.

For those who do not know these train journeys in India, go and try….Get a new life!

Novembers in Hyderabad are generally chilly and occasionally Romantic. The cold breeze, light blue skies and white clouds decorates the city.

It gives me great pleasure when I look at those skies…, calm and peaceful. May be God always thinks how to paint that huge canvas.

After Setteling the Berth Issue of Janaki in S10. I was back to my seat. I am too selfish to leave the window seat to anyone and we were slowly leaving Hyderabad, 30 minutes into the journey. I was enjoying the air with my palm and the rest of the people are still working out on other stuff like who sleeps where, who eats what and when. Ramu was busy searching for another window seat.

We had our dinner around 8.30 and slowly the light started disappearing into the wild Forests. Most of the folks in the train were busy eating and there was a different and uneasy calm. I normally prefer sleeping on the upper berth. By the way, there are normally 6 berths on one side and 3 berths on other .I found the other two were still empty. I guess someone would either join us in the middle of the journey or they might just be ours to enjoy... :)

I was a great fan of Chandamama and since I knew we are going to have a long journey... It will come all the way with us till Morning. So I am watching it by peeping through window. I was habituated to the late bed Bcoz of Late night chats in STC, I felt bored… the train is in an unknown Station for a short time. I think it was close to 10 pm and I almost decided to shut my eyes down. I could hear odd noises at the time of the hour. I got up …disturbed by some noise in our side of the train. Two got into the Train for the other two berths that were empty. Both were females (hm mm!). I thought it was a grandma & grandchild combination and of course I found later that I was right.

There were some adjustments regarding berths. I acted as though I was sleeping….At last the grandchild had only choice was to take top berth, that to facing my berth. She might be in her teens just like me and for a second I felt that she might me little older than me or may be of same age. You now know my happiness, do you?

Chandamama, my favorite is Showering cool. Sometimes, you will be just lucky, you shouldn't ask why, it happens! All my fellow passengers went into deep sleep. The grandma is already sleeping. While I was watching my Chandamama in diff angles. I then saw her going on to the top berth, we saw each other casually and smiles were exchanged.

Luck favored me again; Ramu wanted my Chandamama, i.e. His lower berth I had reluctantly gave away my Chandamama. But, things weren't that bad. She spoke to me a while after settling-in Upper berth; "Hi! My name is …...". Now when a girl (she was really beautiful) says "Hi!", you normally give her a smile, I should say a funny face, but I told you that luck was on my side, so instant words came …. "Santosh" and gave a Stupid Salute (while she was giving a Shake hand) and I was happy that something has started.

She had a pillow and a blanket with her and she rested her lovely face in her palms with elbows resting on the pillow(like Bapu Bomma). If at all I was a poet, I would have written a Poem, If I’ve been a painter (of course I am), colors would flow from my brush, and it would be wonderful to watch. We slowly started talking to each other (remember, that rest of the train was almost asleep) and then came the little sad part. She told that she was doing her MCA 2nd year. Normally, girls look bigger than their age and I was misleader too and I should say that I was disappointed, a little. I decided to make this small journey a memorable one, at least for me… and we talked about many topics. One bad thing (actually good) about me is that... I will pour myself on everything and the opposite persons are normally impressed, but sometimes it goes over.

But now I wanted to listen only to her and not say anything, just listen and watch (actually I was staring) we spoke to each other about an hour and I was already a hero. Sometimes, we will meet few people some day in your life and we would like to spend the rest of the life with them, she was exactly that. Please do not think this to be a 'bada hero dialogue'. It may be, but that is what I felt at that time. However my thoughts were…, she was 1 year older than me and things will not work out. I am writing exactly what I felt at that time and my brain is now thinking about that.

It was not funny at that time and she simply mesmerized me, with a wonderful smile, a charming face and best personality. I decided to reserve the best part of my life to her.Minutes later we said each other "Good Night", while she pulled her blanket over, I was prepared to read some book for few minutes and end up for the night. Moments later, I could not concentrate on my book and even did not stop looking at her (I guess she already slept) face. I stepped down from my berth and walked slowly to the compartment door. Someone was smoking at the door, and thank God, he just finished and left from there. With a big thinking, I just stood by the door, looking at the dark sky and a fast passing dark houses and my chandamama. I left my brain continue thinking about her staring outside the door for about the next 10 minutes.

I felt sleepy but uncomfortable, my eyes were staring outside and all of a sudden I’ve noticed the girl of my dreams (unslept) was right beside me. She said "Hi" and asked me if I am not getting sleep. I took few seconds to believe that she had the same sleepless condition and was searching for me. We spent least 2 hours at the door again chatting about everything below the Chandamama.

We finally decided to stop and go back to our beds. Now comes the real surprise of my life. She gave me wonderful good night gift, LITTLE HEARTS and I will never forget that moment.

We came back to our berths and started talking again.

I was continuing my stupid political talk.

I donno when she was slept but she is already in deep sleep.

I also went into deep sleep staring at my new Chandamama (her face).

Ramu Woke me up at 7AM. We are in the Outskirts of Tamilnadu.

I searched for her.....but it’s vain.

See You Soon Hyderabad…

Me... Born Hyderabadi...

It's Very proud to Bear this "Born Hyderabadi" on my shoulders.

But now I am Leaving Hyderabad, Moving On ...

A crossroad has come and I have to take a different turn.

I've had a memorable and wonderful journey with you.
Now it’s time to say Goodbye to you all...

Saying goodbye is never easy, and for me there is no exception.

I discovered some of my best friends in STC (Satyam Technology Centre)-Hyderabad.

STC - Old IT block
(I’m really excited to go Chennai ...BUT...I'm really sad to leave my friends...they also said kind words about each of us. I'm getting sappy (sad+happy), I know..., but they are SO sweet and kept telling me how much they will miss me. A few of them definitely made me tear up).

I packed all my bags. Those are not much heavy than my heart... (Really yaar).
After a tearful farewell to all my friends and today, I am in Chennai. I wrote this blog entry from my hotel room.

I was sad to be out of Hyderabad and also thrilled to be seeing more of India.
My Heart wishes I could have spent more time with some of the people I met, and feels that may be I became so bad with the fact that I was in busy that I neglected my friends for the sake of travelling to city every Saturday. But I have no bad feelings, only thoughts for the future.
.
.
.
My last days in Hyderabad were filled with Happiness, sad, Boring and satires with my favorite friends that I’ve met there. I can’t forget all those Monthly road trips, Friday night movies, Cafeteria dinners ,Dorms, midnight biryanis & Nasty jokes & Worst fightings -not to forget the late night (over heated) debates on religion and philosophy and values and ethics and what not…..!
I am definitely going to miss this place but hopefully the people that made it so memorable will continue to help me in upcoming golden years...

Words cannot express how much I am gonna miss this place nor I can’t articulate how eagerly I am looking forward to the new life ahead. Perhaps it is these mixed feelings that bring a smile on the face, for each new experience in Life....

So with this lots of emotions, here is goodbye to this wonderful STC ... And hope we’ll meet again…!

I believe destiny will bring us together again. For the record, my train went smoothly and all my bags are fine…ha ha ha…

"I'm going to cherish all the memories I have, till the end and I will always remember my 1st job: a job where even my colleagues were more like friends, a job which mixed professionalism with fun and friendship into a perfect mixture.”

I'll See you soon Twin cities....
but ..Till then....
Goodbye Hyderabad, Goodbye Wonderfull City and Goodbye to everything and everyone that I encountered there...
"SEE YOU SOON"

I know some or the other day our paths will cross again.

Thank You all for everything you've done, and for everything you've taught me! :)

Thanks for bearing up with me.

Diwali : The Festival of Lights is for All

Why do we celebrate Diwali?

It’s not just the festive mood in the air that makes you happy, or just that it’s a good time to enjoy before the advent of winter.

There are 10 mythical and historical reasons why Diwali is a great time to celebrate.
And there are good reasons not just for Hindus but also for all others to celebrate this great Festival of Lights.

1. Goddess Lakshmi’s Birthday: The Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi incarnated on the new moon day (amaavasyaa) of the Kartika month during the churning of the ocean (samudra-manthan), hence the association of Diwali with Lakshmi.

2. Vishnu Rescued Lakshmi: On this very day (Diwali day), Lord Vishnu in his fifth incarnation as Vaman-avtaara rescued Lakshmi from the prison of King Bali and this is another reason of worshipping Ma Lakshmi on Diwali.

3. Krishna Killed Narakaasur: On the day preceding Diwali, Lord Krishna killed the demon king Narakaasur and rescued 16,000 women from his captivity. The celebration of this freedom went on for two days including the Diwali day as a victory festival.

4. The Return of the Pandavas: According to the great epic ‘Mahabharata’, it was ‘Kartika Amavashya’ when the Pandavas appeared from their 12 years of banishment as a result of their defeat in the hands of the Kauravas at the game of dice (gambling). The subjects who loved the Pandavas celebrated the day by lighting the earthen lamps.

5. The Victory of Rama: According to the epic ‘Ramayana’, it was the new moon day of Kartika when Lord Ram, Ma Sita and Lakshman returned to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana and conquering Lanka. The citizens of Ayodhya decorated the entire city with the earthen lamps and illuminated it like never before.

6. Coronation of Vikramaditya: One of the greatest Hindu King Vikramaditya was coroneted on the Diwali day, hence Diwali became a historical event as well.

7. Special Day for the Arya Samaj: It was the new moon day of Kartika(Diwali day) when Maharshi Dayananda, one of the greatest reformers of Hinduism and the founder of Arya Samaj attained his nirvana.

8. Special Day for the Jains: Mahavir Tirthankar, considered to be the founder of modern Jainism also attained his nirvana on Diwali day.

9. Special Day for the Sikhs: The third Sikh Guru Amar Das institutionalized Diwali as a Red-Letter Day when all Sikhs would gather to receive the Gurus blessings. In 1577, the foundation stone of the Golden Temple at Amritsar was laid on Diwali. In 1619, the sixth Sikh Guru Hargobind, who was held by the Mughal Emperor Jahengir, was released from the Gwalior fort along with 52 kings.

10. The Pope’s Diwali Speech: In 1999, Pope John Paul II performed a special Eucharist in an Indian church where the altar was decorated with Diwali lamps, the Pope had a ‘tilak’ marked on his forehead and his speech was bristled with references to the festival of light.

May this Light of Happiness....
Light up Yourself.
May this Diwali be
The Most Sparkling & Lighting
The Sights & Sounds filling up Your Heart with Joy & Happiness...
Wishing You and Ypur Family ......
A HAPPY DIWALI

Let's See The Bridges on Godavari at Rajahmundry

I am Going to Take all of you to one of the beautiful places in Rajahmundry,East Godavari Dist.

"The Three Bridges on River Godavari at Rajahmundry"

This is the newest bridge and was constructed by the Hindustan Construction Company.

The New Godavari Bridge as viewed from Godavari railway station. One can see the other end of the bridge quite clearly as the bridge is dead-straight. Notice also a future provision for doubling of the line on the right hand side.

Havlock bridge provides an intersting foreground for the ultra-modern rail bridge which was finished in the mid 90s. The distance between them is not much. The one in the foreground is the now decomissioned Havelock bridge built in 1900, while The one in the background is the 70s vintage Road-cum-Rail bridge.

The New Godavari Bridge: Constructed by the Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), this bridge is a modern day engineering feat. It is a unique bridge that is based on 28 bow string arch girders with equal spans of 97.5 m, thus making the total length 2.730 km. The bridge is fit for 250 kmph services.

The Old (left hand side) and the New (right hand side) Godavari Bridges.

The old Havelock bridge across Godavari at Rajahmundhry that was retired after more than a century of service. More than 100 years old, it still stands strong and sturdy.

The Old Godavari Bridge or the Havelock Bridge: Now decomissioned, this bridge has 56 spans and is 2.754 kms long. It was constructed with stone masonry and steel girders and certainly a marvel of British engineering.

My first Visit to North Telangana

The most awaited day of the month has came, the second Sunday………..
We’ve planned to go to Mahesh’s (one of our friend & colleague) house in karimnagar dist. Mahesh has arranged the car. Me and my friends Ramya, Karthik,Teju,Ram,Mounika, and Rakesh are very eager to see karimnagar.
Because none of us has seen north telangana previously except Ram.
We have started at 6:00 AM, from satyam Technology Center (STC). We stopped at pragnapur, (Medak dist) to have breakfast….we had Dosa, poori, makka gari (a special of Telangana, made by corn&daal).
Mahesh & Ram told us that it would take 4 hours to reach karimnagar, because the highway NH-7 is one of the busiest in A.P.
As the villages passing on…corn, cotton fields welcomed us to north telangana. But the things which made all of us to fear are the turns, up downs of the road. There are many accident zones where many people lost their lives. So we asked to driver bhayya to go slow .
We haven’t seen many people on the roads of medak, we took siddipet bypass road. We have seen many fruit vendors beside road, we’ve stopped & took a basket of fruits, they are very cheap.
The sun reached hights & we felt very hot. At last we reached Karimnagar city & Mahesh’s village ‘GUNDI’ alias Gopalraopet is around 35 km from city.
We reached there at 11.15 pm. We’ve received a warm welcome from Mahesh’s family.
After having a good lunch, we went to cotton fields of Mahesh. A 30-40 feet agricultural well which do not have any fence made me to fear.
All of us sat under mango trees &took some snaps. Me & Mounika played with the water. Ramya gave a Jhalak to us by driving the luna. They plucked the raw tamarind.
After having snacks & Tea, we headed towards Karimnagar city , where Ram’s grandparents stays. I heared a sound… in a moment that our qualis dashed a bike. They are drunk and came in the wrong way. They started a little argument, Rakesh(Hero of the Day) gave 200/- immediately to settle the issue (ofcourse afterwards he had collected that amount from Mahesh… ha ha ha……)

We reached Ram’s grandparents home, we met them, also Ram’s mom, we had ‘pakodi, chai’ we went to ‘saibaba temple’ & then started to Hyd....
The traffic made us to fear a lot. No one has ‘half blacked their lights, the turns and lights are horrible.
Atlast we reached STC at 11 P.M. I never expected the telangana is such a beautiful.we enjoyed a lot in quails with ‘Manisharma’s compositions’.

One thing we never missed is to have a heated debate about ‘separate statehood of Telangana’.

Be a reason for others to smile…

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…
And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!
Be a reason for others to smile…
