Gone days.....as ELTP

ELTP 897– 899 - “Coolest” n “talented” B.Sc batch....that SLC has ever seen……and will ever see..!!!!!! …….and me extremely glad n proud to be part of it….

The Entry Level Technology Program (ELTP)... I know it doesn’t pull any string in your heart...except until you are a great ELTP...but it’s more than Strings for me... it’s something so close to me...My days as an ELTP in Satyam...those were the fabulous 4 months that will be the closest to my heart always..
On 26th June, 2008 a group of around 80 innocent ,Kid & Kind-hearted people entered SSL (Satyam School of leadership), Where we had or Reporting or Joining Formalities....
The big Hitech Hall it was a world class technology centre with heavy international look, I didn’t believe at once if I was sitting in that hall, it was a beauty to watch the hi-tech room. – Cool AC – new faces – Corporate Culture’s fears – Rakesh, Gopi, Katty and I entered the Real BIG world...
We all had seated in a single row...and I didn’t miss to wave hands to Rajahmundry girls...I was little worried...Bcoz I didn’t find our College beauty Teju there in the hall...
After few minutes Gorgeous Tripura, Sreekanth, Praddy entered the hall.
We started filling tooooo many forms.

The funniest thing happened when I was filling my form. I was filling everything in a hurry... After everything was filled we were supposed to cross check the things that we had filled. We were told to cross check it with our neighbouring partners. I remember I was sitting next to Bharath (Rao garu) and Rakesh on Left hand side.. Rao garu is tallying his sheet with Sudheer and Rake-Rakesh with Karthik...So with whom I should tally.. I was frustrated a little and the funniest things were when I was tallying every column of mine with that of Rao garu, there was a column called languages known. And I to best of knowledge wrote English, Hindi & Telugu. then I was comparing it with Rao garu....and to my surprise he had written something far from what I had written, C, C++, java n all seeing that within a fraction of second I hide my form from Rao garu’s sight so that he could not read what I had written. I then stroked it of that column so that nobody should get even closer to what was written there before. I was laughing on myself. I never told it to anybody. But ya I was really laughing on myself,,
I even couldn’t forget the First food in Satyam – Horrible man....
All the happiness got vanished when we told we were on hold due to lack of Computer Certificates.
The Saga at My home Hub on 27th June is as big as our Satyam way book...
Finally they told that we were “IN”

The first day 30th June 2008..
The buses are waiting at Mayfair, Begampet to take all of us to STC-Satyam technology Centre.

We waved back to all the Parents.
SLC-Satyam Learning Centre is place for ELTP....it was just beside STC-parking. we had Started our career there as an ELTP, and getting the brand name as Satyamite... Even we are in job still us r in like college.
The 15 days Pre ELTP course – it Created a mini Tsunami in the minds of non-CS students...Oh god..
At last the batches were divided after our first OLA (online assessment) called as SPOT.
I was in the IMS directed batch with 31 other buddies—where all chemistry bugs are thrown into. with 7 CS Geniuses(Bharathi,Manasa,Latha,Pratyu,Ritika,Shashi, & Zak).
The Training part—and Dorms kahanies are so long so that U can read in another post...
Old IT block - STC
Those Tuesday saree sessions... those amazing breakfasts and evening snacks at the Dorms/SLC cafe...
And the best part was...of course the assessments... Thanks to all Facilitators, expecially to Chinnajee and Hari sir for long losting relationship with us..
ahh..Santosh Pandey... oww wat a program manager man...he backed us so much -- I think...just for whatsoever reason... according to him we were never "PROACTIVE"...
And no one can forget our funny seminars...(Me and Pratyu – as the Great Seminar Reps)people, Just because they had been given a chance, spoke about what all and what not... so much for one 15 minute seminar....and that seminars actually became the Great fun – Actually headache for me and Pratyu. Those days of studies...all masti and no studies... all we knew was that we were making something great rather than breaking wat was already there... On exam day...we use to think of team work but our team didn’t have a deliverable cuz of our soooo effortful efforts.. :)Those shopping seasons in Koti, Sec’bad... those trips on weekends..especially those visits to Kompally Cine Planet --necklace road...those hot hot biryanis in paradise...those bowls of yummy Haleem... it’s all magic...I think it still gives me a nice flavour in my mouth..

And who cud forgets the awesssssome Alankrita day (Out bound)...what a day and watte major fun..!! The DJ is Unforgettable also It gave me good B.Tech friends..Our friend ship is still alive through my mailing lists.

The day we went for Sisu vihar
I couldn’t forget the day--those who fought 2 get d best seat when the bus had arrived... the Cold war between the northie and southie gang in the bus over which language song the driver should play...thank GOD the driver fed up with us and So he actually stopped playing songs after a few minutes...ahh
Some memories of the ELTP days, time which I spent wid them... yeah! There were lot many people with whom I had real nice bonding, they are simply unforgettable... the time we spent in the evening with each other in that cold breeze walking around STC campus, and those discussions and practice sessions we had for the cultural evening purpose... lot many to mention writing one or two lines will not do any justice, so there shall be a complete post dedicated to the ELTP days in this blog some time later for sure!! and also there will a post on the THEM too... ha ha say a tribute to the relationship(interpretations are all yours).
I just love these.... also I couldn’t forget the day when we watched the movie Tare Zameen Par-- that was being shown in amphi open theatre at STC-Club..that too in Rain – Especially watching beside Appu...

Satyam Culb - STC
And and and our ever so sweet nagaraju domala.. he was d lifeline of SLC (it seems) anyways..those were not the days of impressions.....but who knew in those days that project allocation was all random...based on luck... :)
And these were the things the ELTP dreams were made of...all we knew was that IMS has a load of (even onsite) opportunities... and we are now part of a BIG BIG corporate world... and we r gonna enter REAL projects and work for REAL BIG (fortune 500) clients... little did we know on the dirt we are getting ourselves into...all we knew was that we were Network engineers (Still in the Making stage)...gonna meet big people...gonna be doing some major big stuff in life.. :)
I miss those days...more than what any words could ever describe...those days have given me more than I can ever say... :)I will cherish every bit of it always.. :)
